Ranu Mondal Reveals That She Was A Helper At Late Actor Feroz Khan’s Residence
Ranu Mondal worked with her husband at late actor Feroz Khan’s residence in Mumbai, long back. She is currently signed by Salman Khan and Himesh Reshammiya to croon for their upcoming projects. She was discovered by Himesh Reshammiya when a video of hers singing Lata Mangeshkar’s song had gone viral
Viral singing sensation Ranu Mondal for whom there is no looking back from now, has spilled the beans about her past which establishes her connection with the entertainment world long back. Ranu while talking to IANS, a news agency revealed that she was born in a well to do family, but unfortunately got separated from her parents when she was six months old. She later also revealed that she continued living with her grandmother, and moved from West Bengal to Mumbai post her marriage.
She also adding how she and her husband worked at late actor Feroz Khan's house, her husband worked as a cook and the Khan family also treated them well. Recalling late actor Feroz Khan's son Fardeen Khan, she said he was studying in college back then. Struggling a lot throughout her life she never sang aiming for an opportunity to be a singer, but instead sang as per the situation. She learnt singing when she started listening to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on radio and cassettes.
The 60-year-old singer will soon croon for Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 and has been roped in to sing for a couple of tracks in Himesh Reshammiya's upcoming movie, Happy Hardy and Heer. On a concluding note, she said, "I am very happy and feeling great. I have already recorded five to six songs. The thing is, music facilities in Mumbai mean a lot to me. They are important. To commute to and from my home to Mumbai on plane is also difficult. It would have been good had there been a house in Mumbai. But I don’t have to think about it. God is there."
